Tagging someone or another Pinterest account can be a great way to build engagement and relationships on Pinterest.
Other Pinterest accounts can be tagged in pin descriptions and in comments. When tagging someone, they will get a notification that they have been tagged by you. Depending on their email settings they could also receive an email. Talk about a great way to bring attention to your account!
There are a couple of drawbacks though, the other person has to be following you to get the notification and the system sometimes tags the wrong person.
Jodi from Know Gluten recently had a problem tagging the right person on Pinterest and left me a question about it on Twitter.
