Pinterest rich pins bring more information and branding to your pins but can be complicated to do. A WordPress plugin is now available to make the whole process easy.
WordPress developer Phil Derksen has created a plugin that takes the complicated process of enabling rich pins on self-hosted WordPress sites and made it super easy. He’s creates plugins specifically for article rich pins and one for product rich pins.
To better explain rich pins and the process of installing the plugin and the benefits of rich pins I invited Phil to record a Google+ Hangout which you can watch below. I figured in this case a video would be easier to understand that trying to describe everything in just the audio podcast.
The audio podcast episode does include more information about rich pins including place pins. It also includes this week’s Pinterest tip of the week inspired by a question from Jillian Jackson at TF Cornerstone about decluttering your Pinterest pins.

If you have a minute, I’d really appreciate if you’d hop on over to iTunes and leave the podcast a rating or review. It really helps me to improve the show and helps to keep the podcast visible in the iTunes directory. Thanks!
